Hurling Championship

On the same day of the Camogie final, was the final of the Hurling Championship. This year we had three teams in the running for the first time in recent Queensland history, a testament that Hurling here is growning from strength to strength. Las year we only had two teams, and the year before, there was one. Well done to all three teams who made this championship happen, and for producing the standard of hurling we have seen over the season here.

Congratulations to Na Fianna who have won the championship for the second year winning, after defeating CuChullains. With a scoreline of 2-09 to 0-01, it was going to be a titanic struggle for CuChullains to come back in the second half, but the lads never gave up and served up a very entertaining second half.
